Dawne Fahey is not just a photographer, she is an artist who uses a camera. She combines her photographic and artistic talent to produce stunning images that connects the viewer to the emotional, physical, historical and spiritual elements found in every day life.

Dawne is currently pursuing a particular style of photography known as photojournalism. Photojournalism is currently very popular overseas, and is gaining popularity in Australia. Dawne has adopted the term "lifestyle photography" to create visually appealing images that make a personal and social documentary statement of the lives of the people being photographed in a series of images that tell the story in a complex, yet human and emotional way.

Using high resolution digital photography and Raw file technology Dawne controls the total creative process, from capture to the final print. Dawne shoots on location to take full advantage of the relaxed atmosphere created by the spontaneous experience of her subjects and the freedom they feel when they are engaged in, and with their natural environment. Such experiences produce pleasing images that will be treasured and loved for a very long time.
